How does it work in practice? What happens after I write to you?
Your message comes straight to me and I am the one who replies: it does not go through an agency, an assistant or any intermediary. From there we talk calmly, you tell me what you are looking for and what you expect, and we both work out whether it makes sense to meet. The rest is organisation: we choose the date and the place, and from that moment all that remains is to meet. The full process is in How the first time works.
How quickly do you reply?
I usually reply the same day, sometimes within an hour. If I take longer, it is because I prefer to answer you when I can do so without rushing. My phone does not ring at night, so I will read your message in the morning.
I emailed you and haven’t had a reply. What should I do?
First, check your spam folder, because my reply may already be there. If it isn’t, one of our two messages may have been lost because of a delivery problem: send me a short message on WhatsApp or Telegram to tell me you wrote, so I can find out what happened and, if you like, we can continue the conversation there.
