Data controller and contact
This website is run by the person responsible for «Alexander». For any request concerning your personal data, whether access, correction or deletion, you can write to info@alexandergigolo.com.
What data we collect and why
On this website we handle your data in three distinct ways, which we keep separate.
When you write to us through the contact form. We collect the details you give us, that is name, email and message, and the channel you choose to be contacted on (email or WhatsApp). They serve one purpose only: to reply to you and to manage any contact that follows. The form delivers your message to the mailbox, and there its journey ends: the site keeps no archive of contacts. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before any possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in replying to those who write to us.
When you send the form. At the same moment the site writes a separate counting row, in a database on the server in the European Union: type of device, reason given, channel chosen, language, outcome of the submission and the moment. It tells us whether the form is working, which the messages themselves do not show. That row holds no name, no email address and no IP address, and nothing is written on your device. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in checking that the site does its job.
When you browse the site. We measure the pages viewed, where you arrive from and how you move between sections. It is not there to tell us who you are, it is there to show us how the site is used, and we read it only in aggregate. To do so, however, the tools write a technical identifier on your device, and European law treats that as personal data too: this is why we ask you first, and nothing starts without your consent. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Data handled outside the website
When you contact me by phone, WhatsApp, Telegram or email, I handle those conversations myself. These channels are there to agree and organise the meeting. I keep your contact in a private address book under a pseudonym. Messaging platforms carry and store the messages on their own systems. On my side, everything stays in the conversation itself and in that address book entry. If I need a practical detail to organise something, I use it only for that. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before any possible agreement, and carrying out what we agree.
With payments, some methods make real details of both parties visible. The service provider keeps its own records. The available methods and how they work are set out on the booking and payment page.
Everything received through these channels is deleted when you tell me you will not be repeating the experience, when a long time goes by without contact, or at any time at your request. In any case it is deleted at the latest 24 months after the last contact.
How long we keep data
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to reply to you and manage any relationship; if the contact leads nowhere, it is deleted within 24 months.
The counting rows stay in the database for statistics. Browsing data lasts as long as the tools that collect it allow: Google Analytics keeps it for 14 months, Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and heatmaps for 9 months. After that only aggregate totals remain, and no single visit can be traced from them.
As for information received outside the website (phone, messaging and email), the data is deleted when you say you will not be repeating the experience, when a long time goes by without contact, or at any time on request. In any case it is deleted at the latest 24 months after the last contact.
Third-party tools
To host the site and to measure how it is used, we rely on external providers, listed below with their function and place of processing.
Hosting: HOSTINGER, UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania). Hosts the pages, delivers the contact-form messages and hosts the database with the counting rows. Place of processing: European Union.
Redirection of secondary domains: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). The brand's secondary domains (.net, .it, .es, .de) permanently redirect to the main site through Cloudflare, which for this purpose momentarily processes the connection data (the IP address) of those who reach them. Visitors who reach the main site directly do not pass through Cloudflare. It involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Heatmaps and recordings: Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, United States). Records how pages are used, in aggregate and with anything you type masked, so that it is never recorded. It runs only with your prior consent. It involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Traffic analysis: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States). Measures in aggregate the pages visited, traffic sources and browsing behaviour. It runs only with your prior consent. It involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
