What data we collect and why

We handle your data in two distinct ways, which are never combined.

When you write to us through the contact form. We collect the details you give us — name, email, message — and the channel you choose to be contacted on (email or WhatsApp). They serve one purpose only: to reply to you and to manage any contact that follows. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before any possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in replying to those who write to us.

When you browse the site. We collect statistical data about how the site is used — type of device, section of interest, channel chosen, time and outcome of contact. This data is anonymous: it contains neither your name nor anything that could identify you, and serves only to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Being anonymous, it does not fall under personal-data law.

How long we keep data

Contact data is kept for as long as needed to reply to you and manage any relationship; if the contact leads nowhere, it is deleted within 24 months. Statistical data, being anonymous, is kept with no time limit for analysis.

Third-party tools

To host the site and to analyse anonymously how it is used, we rely on external providers, listed below with their function and place of processing.

Hosting — HOSTINGER, UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania). Hosts the pages and receives the contact-form data. Place of processing: European Union.

Redirection of secondary domains — Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). The brand's secondary domains (.net, .it, .es, .de) permanently redirect to the main site through Cloudflare, which for this purpose momentarily processes the connection data (the IP address) of those who reach them. Visitors who reach the main site directly do not pass through Cloudflare. It involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).

Anonymous statistics — Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, United States). Records, anonymously and in aggregate, how the site is used — heatmaps and anonymised sessions with content masking. It runs only with your prior consent. It involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).

Traffic analysis — Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States). Measures in aggregate the pages visited, traffic sources and browsing behaviour. It runs only with your prior consent. Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing or object, by writing to info@alexandergigolo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
